Nelson Allen Faulkenberry

Mr. Nelson Allen Faulkenberry, known to many as “Uncle Nelson” 56, of Heath Springs passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at his home. He was born December 21, 1961 in Lancaster, a son of Evelyn Bailey Faulkenberry and the late Jones A. Faulkenberry. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School and the University of South Carolina. Mr. Faulkenberry was a member of Elgin Baptist Church. He was also a member of Lancaster Sertoma Club and the Barron Masonic Lodge # 261.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Faulkenberry will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at Elgin Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Joyner and Rev. Donald Waldrop officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by his mother, Evelyn Bailey Faulkenberry of Lancaster; two brothers, Mitchell M. Faulkenberry and his wife Lynda and Haskell Faulkenberry and his wife Sandi all of Lancaster; a sister, Dixie Roberts and her husband Bobby of Lancaster; a brother-in-law, Tony Armstrong of Jessup, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Armstrong.The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Elgin Baptist Church and other times at his home.
