Mrs. Loretta Ferguson Rockholt, 84 of Richburg, widow of John Newton Rockholt, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her home. She was born August 29, 1932 in Lando, a daughter of the late George Ferguson and Willie Wallace Ferguson. Mrs. Rockholt was a member of Lando Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mrs. Rockholt loved sewing, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rockholt will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Lando Church of God with the Rev. Edward Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Lando Cemetery.Mrs. Rockholt is survived by a son, Robert Rockholt and his wife June of Lancaster; a daughter Teresa Snead of Rock Hill; two grandchildren, Jessica Lipford (Travis)and Lauren Cameron (Travis); four great grandchildren, Payton Baldwin, Michaella Baldwin, Tinsley Cameron and Kannon Cameron; two brothers, Leon Ferguson of Kentucky and Arnold Ferguson of Gastonia; two sisters, Brenda Hannon of Massachusetts and Clineth Carnes of Georgia . She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Michael Joseph “MJ” Baldwin; five brothers; and four sisters.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Lando Church of God and other times at the home.Memorial contributions may be made to Lando Church of God, 3763 Eternal Street, Richburg, SC 29729.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Rockholt.

So sorry for your loss! Thinking of you all during these difficult times!
Gonna miss my "Loretty"!! Such a sweetheart and always looked forward to
seeing her when I saw her name on the schedule. Even in these last couple years
she knew me as soon as I called her "Loretty" and give me the biggest hug, except for her last visit at the office and it broke my heart when she didn't recognize "Loretty" or remember me when I spoke to her. Thanks for taking such good care of her Robert.
I loved your Mom and Dad and was an honor to help care for their eyes.
