Logan Wayne Cox, 3, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born May 31, 2011 in Lancaster, a son of Trevor Logan Cox and Amber Nicole Bender. Logan loved playing with toy cars and he also loved being with his Paw-Paw.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Logan will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2 pm at New Life Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Pate officiating. Logan is survived by his father, Trevor Logan Cox and his mother, Amber Nicole Bender both of Lancaster; two uncles, Steven Stroud and his wife Brandi and Taylor Cox all of Lancaster; one aunt, Shelby Cox, of Lancaster; paternal grandparents, James and Shawn Cox; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Teresa Clevinger; paternal great-grandparents, Joe and Dana Hill of Eutawville, SC; maternal great-grandparents, Jimmy and Ellen Melton, all of Lancaster; great-grandmother, Ida Lester; and a cousin, Emile Stroud.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at New Life Free Will Baptist Church.Memorials may be Levine Children’s Hospital, 1001 Blythe Blvd., Suite 200-E, Charlotte, NC 28203.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Logan.Read Obituary
