Lewis Harlee Blackmon

Mr. Lewis Harlee Blackmon, 59, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at his home. He was born November 5, 1958 in Lancaster, a son of the late Chalmers George Blackmon and Louise Catoe Blackmon. Mr. Blackmon was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a dedicated family man and loved being with family members. Mr. Blackmon also received much joy socializing with his friends. His favorite hobby was restoring Chevrolet trucks. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Blackmon will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 3 pm at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin and Rev. Chris Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Blackmon is survived by his wife, Sandee K. Blackmon of Lancaster; a son, Matthew L. Blackmon of Lancaster; a daughter, Amanda B. Powers and her husband T.J. of Rock Hill; three brothers, Gary Blackmon of Columbia, Alton Blackmon and his wife Diane and Allen Blackmon all of Lancaster; and two grandchildren, Daniel Powers and Emma-Leigh Powers. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church and other times at the home of Lewis and Sandee.
