Larry O'Neal Grubbs

Mr. Larry O’Neal Grubbs, 71, of Lancaster passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at his home. He was born August 14, 1943 in Gastonia, NC, a son of the late Frank Vernon Grubbs and Thelma Hinson Grubbs. Mr. Grubbs was a dedicated Christian who dearly loved the LORD. He was a beloved family man with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Grubbs retired from Springs Industries after thirty seven years of service.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Grubbs will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Howell officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Grubbs is survived by two sons, Rev. Jeff Grubbs and his wife Brandi of Camden, and Michael Grubbs and his wife Benita of Lancaster; a daughter, Lisa Revels and her husband Mike of Great Falls; eight grandchildren, Luke Grubbs, David Bolton, Landon Grubbs, Logan Grubbs, Lainey Grubbs, Josh Revels, Jessica Revels and Jana Revels; and one great grandchild, Jeremy Revels.The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Michael Grubbs.Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeshore Drive Church of God, 1201 Lakeshore Drive, Camden, SC 29020.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Grubbs.Read Obituary
