Joyce Allen Walker

Mrs. Joyce Allen Walker, 70, of Lancaster passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at her home. She was born October 12, 1943 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Jesse Franklin Allen and Loreane Watts Pressley. Mrs. Walker was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Walker will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 3 pm at Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Cliff Henson and Rev. Dale Walters officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Walker is survived by two sons, Jimmy Long and Jeffrey Pressley both of Lancaster; a step-daughter, Noelle Jones of Lancaster; two brothers, Danny Allen “Tuck” and his wife Sissy, Robert Allen “Beau” and his wife Chessie; three grandchildren, Dana Long, Sidney Long and Justin Pressley. She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Eugene Allen and James Franklin Allen “Peanut”; and a sister, Jessie Faye Allen.The family will receive friends at the home, 129 Doster Road, Lancaster, prior to the service.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Walker.Read Obituary
