Mr. Johnnie Lawrence Hagins, 77, of Lancaster, widower of Betty Hadwin Hagins, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. He was born August 4, 1940 in Lancaster, a son of the late Joseph Jesse Hagins and Myrtle Marshall Hagins.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hagins will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11 am from the graveside at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill McCown officiating. Burial will be in the St. Luke United Methodist Church Cemetery.Mr. Hagins is survived by a son, Stephen Hagins and his wife Genie of Lancaster; a daughter, Cindy Hagins of Heath Springs; a sister, Joann Crenshaw of Camden; a granddaughter, Jennifer H. Eury; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hammond.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Hagins.
