Mr. Jeffrey Douglas Bowers, Jr., 32, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. He was born December 15, 1984 in Columbia, SC, a son of Jeff D. Bowers, Sr. and Lisa Sims Bowers. Mr. Bowers was employed by Turner Industries out of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a loving father and friend to many. Mr. Bowers enjoyed outdoor activities and he loved to fish.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Bowers will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 6 pm at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul E. Smith, Jr. officiating. Mr. Bowers is survived by a daughter, Lana Bowers of Heath Springs; mother of their daughter, Amanda Taylor of Lancaster; his parents, Jeff D. Bowers, Sr. and Lisa S. Bowers of Heath Springs; a brother, Jesse Bowers and his wife Nancy of Lancaster; and a sister, Rebecca Moore of Heath Springs.The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jeff and Lisa, 740 Pinebrook Road, Heath Springs, SC.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Bowers.
