James Michael Jordan

Mr. James Michael Jordan, 58, of Heath Springs, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born June 16, 1960 in Lancaster, a son of Mildred Bernice Duncan Jordan and the late Furman James Jordan. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and playing softball. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jordan will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Williams officiating.Mr. Jordan is survived by two sons, Timmy Jordan and his wife Rachel of Lancaster and Christopher Michael Jordan of Denver, Colorado; a daughter, Sharon Chamness and her husband Jacob of Kershaw; his mother, Mildred Bernice Jordan of Lancaster; two sisters, Karen Jordan Snipes and her husband Luke of Lancaster and Sharon Jordan Payne and her husband Wendell of Kershaw; six grandchildren, Autumn Chamness, Aubrey Chamness, Allie Chamness, Colton Chamness, Kaleigh Jordan, and Nekieya Jordan; and his fiancé, Karen Carnes of Lancaster.The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mildred Jordan.Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 3731 Lynwood Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Jordan.Read Obituary
