Jackie Clifford Shurley

Mr. Jackie Clifford Shurley, 64, of Waterloo passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Regency Hospital of Greenville. He was born June 1, 1951 in Rock Hill, a son of the late Gary Shurley and Alma Hinson Shurley. He was a member of Fort Lawn Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. He was veteran of the Marine Corp. He loved fishing, T.V, going to the mountains, traveling all over the country, and most importantly his family and friends. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Shurley will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 3 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Linderman officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Fort Lawn, SC. Mr. Shurley is survived by two daughters, Amy Mayo and her husband Lazaro of Jacksonville, NC, and Crissy Ehmer of Columbia, SC; a brother, Thomas Floyd Shurley of Louisiana; two sisters, Jean Shurley Horne and her husband Reece of Arizona, and Freda Shurley Price and her husband Tommy of Waterloo, SC; a number of grandchildren; his fiancé Geraldine P. Coble of Waterloo, SC; and a brother in law, Donald Brown. He was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Shurley a sister, Joann Brown; and a brother and sister in law, Clawson Shurley and his wife Joyce. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
