George Barry Wallace

Mr. George Barry Wallace, 64, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at his home. He was born March 28, 1950 in Lancaster, a son of the late George Wilson Wallace and Barbara Snipes Wallace. Mr. Wallace was retired from Springs and was a US Army Veteran who served our country in the war with Vietnam.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Wallace will be held Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Catoe officiating.Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Judy Jenkins Wallace; a daughter, Teri Wallace Harrison and her husband Paul of Kershaw; and a grandson, Tyler Higgins.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2189 Douglas Heights Lane, Lancaster.The family suggest that memorials be made to Regency Hospice, 420 South Herlong Avenue – Suite 104, Rock Hill, SC 29732.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Wallace.Read Obituary
