George Francis O'Neill

Mr. George Francis O’Neill, 89, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at his home. He was born July 9, 1927 in Irvington, New Jersey, a son of the late Harry Edward O’Neill and Margaret Mary Davin O’Neill. Mr. O’Neill was a member St. Catherine Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. O’Neill liked to work in his yard, enjoyed golf, bowling and spending time with his family and friends.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. O’Neill will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2 pm at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Sumner officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Mr. O’Neill is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Hoehnen O’Neill of Lancaster; two sons, George J. O’Neill and his wife Acelia and Gary M. O’Neill and his wife Judy all of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Megan Jenkins and her husband Darren, Mark O’Neill and a step-grandson Matthew Cole and his wife Amanda. He is preceded in death by a brother, Harry O’Neill and a sister, Marguerite Connelly.Memorial contributions may be made to Lancaster ASPCA, P.O.
