Franklin Eugene "Frankie" Perry

Mr. Franklin Eugene “Frankie” Perry, 76, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born April 14, 1938 in Lancaster, a son of the late Herman Franklin Perry and Madeline Thurman Perry and was the widower of Teresa Beckham Perry. Mr. Perry was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved remote controlled airplanes and boats. Mr. Perry also loved going to go-kart racing and was an avid coin collector.A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Perry will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 3 pm at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Donald Tillman officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park with Military Honors.Mr. Perry is survived by a daughter, Sheila Montgomery and her fiancé Artie of Lancaster; two brothers Jerry Perry and his wife Judy of Lancaster; and Mickey Perry of Liberty Hill; a sister, Sylvia Hegler of Lancaster; and two grandchildren Mitchell and Richard Montgomery of Lancaster. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Teresa Beckham Perry and a son, Elliot Perry.The family will receive friends following the service.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s’ choice.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Perry.Read Obituary
