Mrs. Frankie Angelea Gay Phillips, 80, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home. She was born August 18, 1937 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Herman Gay and Viola Hill Gay. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Phillips will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 3 pm at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd Robinson officiating. Mrs. Phillips is survived by two sons, Robert Marcus Phillips of Lancaster and Ted Phillips of Fort Lawn; three daughters, Lisa Gaye Phillips Hunter of Lancaster, Debra Sue Phillips of Fort Lawn and Patricia Phillips of Lancaster; two brothers, Billy Gay of Hinesville, GA and Randy Gay and his wife Kay of Lancaster; two sisters, Mary Ackerman and Margaret Boone and her husband Alton all of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren, three of which she raised as her own, Brooke Hunter, Kati Phillips and Karli Phillips; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home. I love Ms Phillips, she was one of the most selfish, most giving women I have ever had the pleasure to be around. She loved her family, her kids, and grandkids and Mr. Phillips more than anything. She sacraficed so much of herself and her time for the love of the ones that needed her. She had a heart of gold, beautiful lady with that Lil smile of hers. I enjoyed our talks and the times I did have with her, her advice, her friendship. I will never forget her, I was honored to get to know her.
To the family, my most heartfelt condolences to you, you lost a pearl to heaven, a one of a kind of Lady, I too loved her and can't imagine what your hearts are feeling. But your in my thoughts, the whole family.. Monk

She was a great aunt to us all.I called her to take me to the hospital after she had worked a 12 hour shift
She never hesitant ed.she never complained.or asked questions. She took me and waited patiently on me.she will greatly be missed by all of us.My uncle Bobs waiting for her to come home.After waiting on us .Now it's her turn to rest in peace.The memories that we have of Aunt Frankie are golden.
