Dear loved ones of Ed,
Although not mentioned, Ed was married to my mother, for over 20 years. He was a stepfather to Kurt and myself, Andrea. He was the only father I ever knew from elementary school on. While we had spoken after the death of my mother and his subsequent re-marriage, there were some painful memories for us both and I believe it was easier for us to know to we thought about each other, but not to communicate for fear of bringing up the past. I am writing this for anyone who might not have know that Ed was my father too, and that he was a great father to me. Among so many wonderful things, I know every police code on a scanner, know every tool in the tool box, and can change the oil in a Peterbuilt, because Ed was my Dad too.
