Doris Jane Hagins Cauthen

Mrs. Doris Jane Hagins Cauthen, 83, of Lancaster, widow of Cecil W. Cauthen, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born June 22, 1931 in Heath Springs, a daughter of the late Samuel Everette Hagins and Sadie Hammond Hagins. Mrs. Cauthen was a homemaker and member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cauthen will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill McCown officiating. Burial will be in the St. Luke United Methodist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Cauthen is survived by four sons, Kenneth Cauthen and his wife Marsha, Al Cauthen and his wife Sandra, and Carey Cauthen all of Lancaster and Brian Cauthen and his wife Angie of Rock Hill; a daughter, Acelia C. O’Neill and her husband George of Lancaster; two brothers, James Hagins of Lancaster and Richard Hagins of Camden; two sisters, Mary Plyler and Julia Hagins both of Lancaster; ten grandchildren, Jill Stewart (Drew), Matt Cauthen (Meagan), Ben Cauthen (Tanya), Megan Jenkins (Daren), Mark O’Neill, Kelly Cauthen, Trey Cauthen, Jenna Lloyd (Brandon), Jonathan Cauthen and Jessica Cauthen; and two great grandchildren, Mason Stewart and Harrison Lloyd. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William E.
