Doris Faye Mills Broome

Mrs. Doris Faye Mills Broome, 73, of Fort Lawn, wife of Robert Dennis Broome, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. She was born September 26, 1943 in Great Falls, a daughter of the late Julius Frank Mills and Eunice Katherine Outlaw Mills.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Broome will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 5 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Mills and Rev. Katherine Baker officiating.Mrs. Broome is survived by her husband, Robert Dennis Broome; three sons, Roger Eason and his wife Tammy, Michael Eason all of Lancaster and Dennis Broome and his wife Songa of Fort Lawn; a daughter, Linda Miller and her husband Robert of Lancaster; a brother, Robert Mills and his wife Darlene of Lancaster; a sister, Katherine Baker and her husband Charles of Fort Lawn; twelve grandchildren, Dennis Jr. Kayla, Dale, Jennifer, Matt, Kevin, Ashley, Mike Jr., Angela, Daniel, Renae and Taurus; thirty great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home.Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 1222 Walkup Avenue, Monroe, NC 281110.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Broome.Read Obituary
