Donald Ray Tolbert

Mr. Donald Ray Tolbert, 66, of Selma, Alabama, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. He was born June 5, 1951 in Lancaster, a son of the late Doc Tolbert and Millie Vincent Tolbert. Mr. Tolbert loved the river and was an avid fisherman. He recently resided in Alabama and had many friends and family there.Services will be private.Mr. Tolbert is survived by a son, Jason Tolbert and his wife Lindsey of Lancaster; three daughters, Melissa Taylor and her husband Brad, and Casey Stogner all of Lancaster and Cindy Russell and her husband Marty of Monroe, NC; a brother, Gene Tolbert of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Brittany Nichols, Mackenzie Knight, Richard Stogner, Mikayla Holshouser, Logan Russell, Linsdsey Russell, and Cooper Tolbert; and one great grandchild, Jaden Grace Nichols. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tolbert was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Tolbert, Jesse Tolbert, Joe Tolbert and Jerry Tolbert.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Tolbert.Read Obituary
