Dianne Hagins Swofford

Mrs. Dianne Hagins Swofford, 67, of Lancaster, widow of Shaw Swofford passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at her home. She was born November 16, 1950 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late William Everette and Rose Quinn Hagins. Mrs. Swofford was a loving mother grandmother and friend. She loved to travel, sing, and knit. She retired from the government to take care of her mother and aunt. She loved her church and was a deacon. She loved her fur babies, Duncan and Daphne. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Swofford will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 am at Oakridge ARP Church with the Rev. David Huffman, Rev. Curtis Pace, and Rev. Glenn Welsford officiating. Burial will be at a later date.Mrs. Swofford is survived by her son, Mark and his wife Sheila of Nashville TN; two grandchildren, Gavin Swofford and Madison Swofford. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Anita Smith, a sister Brenda Opal and a grandchild Kyle Swofford.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Oak Ridge ARP.
