Clarence E. Adams

Mr. Clarence E. Adams, 80, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at his home. He was born May 8, 1935 in Mt. Croghan, a son of the late Clarence Adams and Ruby Parker Adams. Mr. Adams was a member of Grace Praise and Worship Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mr. Adams loved to work in his garden and with his livestock. He loved his church and church family and loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mr. Adams was retired from DuPont.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Adams will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2 pm at Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Roberts and Rev. Thomas Wayne Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Christine Underwood Adams of Lancaster; three sons, Eddie G. Adams, Donald R. Adams and his wife Harriett and Rev. Thomas Wayne Adams all of Lancaster; a daughter, Deborah A. Sellers of Fort Mill; a brother, James David “J.D.” Adams of Kershaw; a sister, Marcene Roberts and her husband Bobby of Elgin; six grandchildren, Tylan Wayne Adams, Bethany Mariah Adams, Alenna Stacks, Nikki Adams, Brian Adams and Heath Sellers; and two great-grandchildren, Bryson Wayne Adams and Carson Graham McCormick.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Praise and Worship Church, 2670 Flat Creek Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Adams.Read Obituary
