Mrs. Callie Marcine McGee Gamble, 74, of Heath Springs formerly of Waxhaw, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her home. She was born April 14, 1943 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Clifton John McGee Sr., and Annie May Moree McGee. Mrs. Gamble was a member of Springdell Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, camping, crocheting, drawing, and painting. She loved her church and spending time with her family and friends. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gamble will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 2 pm at Springdell Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald W. Tillman officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mrs. Gamble is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 57 years, Carl Gamble, a son, Carl “Wayne” Gamble of Lancaster; two daughters, Loretta Lynn Gamble Marshall and her husband Jim of Rockingham, NC, and Teresa Marcine Gamble Boone and her husband Greg of Waxhaw, NC; two sisters Sylvia Stroud and Yvonda Crenshaw, both of Lancaster; four grandchildren, James Lee Marshall Jr., Michelle Lynn Marshall Jordan, Hunter Gregory Boone, and Haley Allen Boone; three great-grandchildren, Logen Mitchell Marshall, Truett Elijah Jordan, and Caleb Warren Marshall; three sisters in law, Rachel Groce, Grace Stack, and Shirley Long, a number of nieces and nephews; and grandpups Buddy Gamble, Jasper, and Macey Boone. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Springdell Baptist Church Family Life Center, and other times at the home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Springdell Baptist Church Building Fund 1420 Springdell Church Rd. Lancaster, SC. 29720. Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Gamble.
