Mrs. Brenda Kay Lear Roberts, 54, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born February 8, 1961 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Thomas Lear and Magdaline Pigg Lear. Mrs. Roberts was the book keeper for J & S Used Cars and was the owner of Brooklyn Avenue Grocery.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Roberts will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10 am at the Mausoleum Chapel of Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Larry Reeves officiating. Entombment will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Jerry Roberts of Lancaster; special friends, JoAnn Poston, Barbara Webber and Dennis Beckham; a special niece Shannon Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Roberts.Read Obituary

I had no idea that Brenda Kay passed away Aug. 9th. I am so sorry about this. I went to school with her for years and she was always a very sweet person. I am praying for her family, may the good Lord continue to comfort you all every day.
