Mr. Blake Russell Horton, 47, of Duncan, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born December 4, 1969 in Florence, a son of Jeanette Russell Horton and the late Robert Edison Horton. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Horton will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 3 pm from the graveside at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mitch Horton officiating. Mr. Horton is survived by a son, Coleman Mack Horton of Florence; a daughter, Carolyn Nicole Horton of Florence; his mother, Jeanette Russell Horton of Raleigh, NC; and two brothers, Rob Horton and his wife MaryBelinda of Latta and Mitch Horton and his wife Susan of Raleigh, NC. Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Horton.

To all of our Horton family. God give you peace, strength, and comfort during your time of loss. I am at loss for words. All of us were close cousins growing up and playing kick the can over in maw maw Horton's yard. As we grew older, we all have families but are still there for one another no matter what.
