Betty Sue Lucas Jones

Mrs. Sue Lucas Jones, 84, of Lancaster, widow of William Jefferson Jones passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her home. She was born June 24, 1933 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Ira Lucas and Hattie Adams Lucas. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, watching TV and just going places and having fun. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jones will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Danny McCurry officiating. Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Sandra Jones West of Pageland; a sister, Nancy Wagner of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Dana Jones Jett, Tracy Jones Murray, William Joshua West and Jillian Denise West; and three great grandchildren, Haley Jett, Emily Jett and Tabitha Murray. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Dale Jones and William Curtis Jones; four brothers; and a sister. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at her home.
