Barbara Ann Hodge Jones

Mrs. Barbara Ann Hodge Jones, 70, of Lancaster, widow of William Crawford Jones, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at her home. She was born February 15, 1947 in Ruby, a daughter of the late John Hodge, Jr. and Willie Virginia Mae Brock Hodge. Mrs. Jones enjoyed crocheting blankets for her friends at Walmart and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jones will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 3 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Cole officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Jones is survived by a son, William Crawford Jones, II of Lancaster; four daughters, Cindy Miles and her husband Kenny of Jefferson, Ginger Ross and her husband Brandon of Monroe, Virginia Whitley and her companion Toby Price, and Liz Robertson and her husband Lynn all of Lancaster; two brothers, Larry Hodge of Lancaster and Donald Hodge of York; six step children; six grandchildren; a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and Mrs. Jones’ companion of 12 years, Leo “Bud” Travis. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by five brothers, Henry Brock, James Hodge, Robert Hodge, Gene Hodge, and Frank Hodge; and two sisters, Ruby Windham and Dorothy Faye Terry.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Liz and Lynn Robertson.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Jones.Read Obituary
