Mrs. Anne Butler McCulloch, 80, of Lancaster, wife of John Russell McCulloch, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. She was born February 24, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia, a daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Butler and Clara Jones Butler. Mrs. McCulloch was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she had sung in the choir. She enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband, having seen the lower “48” states. She loved reading, doing water aerobics with her friends, spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow up.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. McCulloch will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Edgar McCall officiating. Inurnment will be in the First Presbyterian Church Columbarium.Mrs. McCulloch is survived by her husband, John Russell McCulloch; a son, Russell McCulloch and his wife Joni of Milton, GA; a daughter, Rebecca Taylor and her husband Darren of Columbia, SC; a sister, Sally Butler Ford and her husband Vernon of Atlanta, GA; and three grandchildren, Jenna McCulloch, Michael McCulloch and Thomas Taylor.The family will receive friends at the church following the service.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 2275 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 or to First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 990, Lancaster, SC 29721.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. McCulloch.
